I'm recovering from my first art fair. It was quite the whirlwind weekend, oversleeping, a 4 hour rain shower and many ants. While it was not my most profitable weekend ever, the amount I gained in learning from sharing the booth was priceless. Monique of 3 Ring Traveling Apothicary was an amazing show mentor, helping me with set up and display space and just being a good role model. Also, because of her AMAZING products, we had the best smelling tent there by far, which was very important after 2 85+ degree days. I am proud of myself for trying something new, but thinking next time I will go for an indoor show with air conditioning!
